The White Room is a hybrid salon where, in addition to eco hairdressing, you can also enjoy traditional barber and hairdressing services. We also offer lovely, relaxing natural treatments that help repair and restore your hair.

I’m Marja-Riitta, a happy and people-oriented Eco Hairdresser and owner of The White Room. Here I can realize my dream, which has been rooted in me since childhood. Dolls and Barbies got to experience the most imaginative hair styles. One of my main sources of inspiration has been my beloved godmother, who is also a hairdresser. When I was young, I was always able to help him when I went to Helsinki.
I graduated as a barber-hairdresser in 1999 and jumped straight into working as a stylist. Later, I continued my studies in a specialized barber-hairdresser management program, after which I became an entrepreneur. In 2014, I took a natural step forward and became a certified eco hairdresser. That’s when The White Room was born — a place where chemicals make way for gentle, nature-respecting alternatives.
It’s close to my heart to offer every client personalized and warm service. I want The White Room to be more than just a hair salon – it’s a space where you can enjoy your own peaceful time without the presence of other clients.
